I was lucky to be in the area when this outfit celebrated its great renovations to the vineyard and its facilities on a weekend in November. My brother and I enjoyed a private tour through the renovated wine cellars to show the impressive new...Facilities for viticulture; there was an excellent selection of own wines, served by open bottle (a great tradition), and sorted sausages from the grill outside. We arrived at 5 a.m. in the afternoon and in a short order the place was filled with a Swiss crowd that celebrated its wine culture and this establishment. I am sure both for wine and for the great society of wine lovers.
My friend and I got a great wine tasting from the cellar master yesterday. We were allowed to look at the wine cellars and test the wines. We liked very well that there were still really dry Rieslings with neat acidity and little residual sweetness. These are more and more difficult to find. But we also liked the Rosé very well, especially the Blanc de Noir.
