On arriving you are welcomed with a fantastic view overlooking the vineyards. We enjoyed our first glass of wine relaxing on the sky walk and taking in the view. The owners and staff make you very welcome and are very helpful. The breakfast is fantastic,...everything you could wish for. Even bacon and eggs freshly cooked by the chef on an unusual open fire stove. The food and wines in the restaurant were also good and reasonably priced. Also large portions. We stayed here a week so sampled various specialities. Our room was on the small side but tastefully decorated and very compact, also lots of cupboard space. The bathroom is of reasonable size but the rounded corner shower small especially for men. The beds very comfortable and we also had a fantastic view from the room. Highly recommendable
In the afternoon we made a stop at the vinery and Restaurant „Mahorko“. The food is excellent, the wines as well and the view is absolutely breathtaking. You have in addition to the restaurant terrace a wonderful open lounge terrace above the vinerys with a...breathtaking panorama view. Apart from lunch and dinner a perfect place for a cup of coffee and a piece of the fantastic house made cakes or a glass of wine and a relaxing break in the sun with an exceptional view
My husband and I recently stopped by this place for lunch. The location is lovely and the terrace offers a great view across the vineyards. The food was OK but certainly not the best meal that I have had in the Weinstraße region. The waiters...were not very friendly and the food took quite a long time to come to the table. However if you are looking for a spot with a lovely view whilst sampling some regional food and wine then this is certainly a good choice
This restaurant is placed on a hill, dominating the Stirian Weinstrasse. From the terrace you can admire a wonderful landscape. Location is superb. Typical regional dishes are proposed in the menu and the quality is good. Service is fast. Be aware that personnel doesn't speak...English
