We stopped at this restaurant as part of a cruise tour. The meal consisted of tomato soup with the tiniest piece of bread, chicken and veges, berry compote with cream swirled through it. The main meal tasted like it was a frozen meal heated up...and the vegetables were frozen ones not fresh. The service was awful with waitress leaning across my sister to pick up my plate which was full because the food was so bad. The drink included was half full which we downed in 2 mins after walking through the town. All in all a bad experience and our whole table felt the same way. Didn’t feel like we were in a typical German restaurant that’s for sure
came here on a cruise. the waitress refused to serve additional wein, although I said I would pay happy. a member of our party did not receive his order and the personal was overhauled. the waitress ignored my table. we are all. very nice tourist who have not earned so bad service from a restaurant that seems completely pampered by the restaurant and we were color from the only group in the restaurant that had this labor. avoid like the plague.
Our tour group came here for a prearranged lunch which consisted of a three course meal of tomato soup, chicken and vegetables, and a berry dessert. The soup was okay but the chicken was bland and tasteless and not the German food we had expected....The berry desert was the best part but more like a cobbler without the crust. Having been to other parts of Germany, this was disappointing but maybe this is typical of this region.
we have fallen here in the frame of the tour to lunch. there was no friendly face of the personal. they mostly ignored all the accusations to more wein, juice and said they only have a drink. can not even buy more without cheating them. Very...easy chicken and suppe. if they expect to taste some local German cuisine, that's not it. take your money elsewhere.

Our tour group stopped by for lunch. We were given choices of several items. We started of with either a German beer or wine and for the main dish either pork with gravy and potatoes or chicken. I had the pork which was very good...and my wife had the chicken .This was a very quaint German hotel restaurant
when we arrived at the restaurant and asked for a table, the staff pointed to a table and said that we could sit there if we had brought geduld. after a long time we found some menus and after a longer time...on the left of course we had not enough geduld.
very cozy place, and the staff is very friendly and positiw. the food was good. the one had the calbleber and the other the gordon bleu. both dishes were good and there was a lot of eating large portions. we had a blue burgundy to join the food.
This historic and charming Hotel, Restaurant and Bar located in old town Schwerin serves fresh and delicious food. This restaurant is popular with tour groups and they have mastered fast, efficient service.

This is a beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Schwerin town. It’s really beautifully maintained and the facade is really gorgeous. It’s a perfect place to stay if you are in this town.
