Weinpress - Réservation de table

We've visited the restaurant several times over many years and the food has always been good, however read on......This year (our annual ski trip to Filzmoos) we turned up for our reservation and they had no table and insisted that the reservation was for the following evening. Now mistakes happen but what happened next was unacceptable. We always pre book in Filzmoos as the best restaurants get busy and you cannot simply walk in.We looked a email confirmations and it's was pretty clear (see the confirmation). We were looking for somewhere in between Hubertus (a Michelin starred restaurant which is out of our price range) and the more traditional no-frills restaurants that make up a lot of Filzmoos. We were lucky enough to find Weinpress on the last day and it was exactly what we were after- somewhere stylish with an excellent modern European menu that doesn't break the bank! They also do Asian food which is a nice touch. Both of our meals were beautiful plates of food executed with real flare, just what we were after having eaten the traditional Austrian 'meat and potatoes' for most of the week. We know this restaurant well, having visited it each year we have skied in Filzmoos since 1988. We always make sure we pop in especially for our favourite tyroler grostl, a frying pan of potato, cabbage, red onion, bacon and topped with fried egg. Good for kids lunches too. You won't be disappointed. Sometimes booking recommended even for lunch.

We ate here twice in our week long holiday.More upmarket ambiance and standard of food than the other restaurants in Filzmoos (apart from the Hubertus of course!) - and not full of families with kids.More relaxed and quiet.The prices were average however - which is why we ate here twice.Very friendly and helpful staff. What a fantastic place to stop for lunch after a hard morning's ski session. Warm, friendly and cosy. The fantastic glass windows allow you to see the slopes while you enjoy a glass of wine and a good meal. Food was very Austrian and tasty.

The best food we had in Filzmoos and also the best wine! 3 of us had the steak which was amazing and the other 3 had Thai. They brought us all out a complimentary bouche-amuse to start and a complimentary sorbet at the end.

We have not stayed at the Weinpress but ate there several times whilst on holiday. The food is outstanding and I would highly recommend any Thai dish... Great service, friendly atmosphere and defiantly worth a visit.

We stayed three nights in Filzmoos and on the last night we dined here. The whole experience was great from welcome, waitressing and of course food. I throughly recommend this restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant
