first of all, the yellow house impresses with its beautiful outside area with views of the eltviller castle and the surrounding weinberge. the service staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. also children are welcome and get a pretty jewellery at the end. the ambiente is very good. Unfortunately, eating has left more and more in the past few years, so that we decided this year not to go there anymore. already last summer, it is clear that the quality of meat became worse, the dishes smaller....not what you can remember after a few weeks in the sense of: that was particularly delicious, as we go again. the worst came in winter 2016: an absolutely and completely inviolable escape....
we were in a registered group of approx. 30 people there, eating was pre-ordered. the service is very competent, incredibly flott and friendly. We were with a group visiting Eltville at a sunny day and after a unique boat tour at the Rhine in need for a good luncheon. Restaurant is close to the river and the center and has a very nice terrace overlooking the river. Of course they have good Riesling. I had a cold roast beef with baked potatoes.
