Anläßlich eines Wochenendausfluges waren wir zu Viert an zwei Abenden im "Luy". 1. Abend: kalte Küche wie vorbestellt - Winzer-Vesper, dazu excellenten Weißburgunder. Die Zutaten taufrisch, das gereichte Brot knusprig mit feiner Krume, reichhaltige Auswahl regionaler Delikatessen (Wildschweinschinken !), zwei exorbitant leckere Käse - ein wirklicher Genuß. Einzig bei den Beigaben vermißten wir Gewürzgurke und vielleicht eine Vinaigrette zur hausgemachten Riesling-Tafelspitz-Sülze. Aber -sprich mit Deinem Wirt- alles Gewünschte wurde ad hoc freundlichst nachgereicht.Highlight des Abends - Eine Clear-Oxtail-Soup als Gruß aus der Küche, wie ich sie mein Lebtag in noch keinem deutschen Restaurant serviert bekam. 5 Sterne!2ter Abend: Zwei Vorspeisen, vier Hauptgerichte - ein deftiges Wintersüppchen von Kartoffeln, Lauch, Gehacktem und Käsewürfeln - cremig verkocht und dennoch von wunderbarer Textur und trotz der kräftigen Zutaten sehr fein mit einem trockenen Riesling ausbalanciert. Frisches Zanderfilet (statt aus der Truhe) auf der Haut à point gebraten auf einem gut portioniertem und reich sortiertem Salatbett frischester Art, dazu eine äußerst delikate Senf-Vinaigrette und das schon vom Vorabend bekannte frische Brot aus naher Produktion - o-la-la!Rumpsteak in excellenter Güte, Garzustand, Temperatur und Geschmack, Hirschgulasch (aus dem Wald und nicht aus Neuseeland) in einer wuchtigen Burgundersauce, Riesling-Tafelspitz-Sülze heute im großen Auftritt mit Gürkchen, Kräutervinaigrette und frischen Zwiebelwürfelchen (!), dazu ganz schlicht - gescheibelte Bratkartoffeln, nicht zu fett und rösch gebraten - delikat. Überhaupt, dass die Beilagen und Salate von ebenfalls excellenter Güte waren, darf auch hier extra erwähnt werden. Ja und dann - die Weine: Blanc de noir, Riesling trocken, Spätburgunder, Spätburgunder rosé und ein Riesling Sekt brut - allesamt aus eigenem Winzerkeller. Das wir uns spontan 12 Flaschen mit nach Hause nahmen, um diese unvergesslichen Abende noch einmal nachzukosten, sagt wohl mehr, als alle blumigen Worte. Es gilt: Herkommen, ausprobieren und sich ein eigenes Urteil bilden - ich kann hier nur meine allerbeste Empfehlung dazu ausprechen.
