We tried Hes' wine restaurant about ten years ago and did not return until friends gave us a gift certificate. The restaurant is usually the way I remembered it. Our waitress seemed new to the job, but was friendly and helpful as she could be. We chose the tasting menu. The ala carte menu was standard guest house tariff. The wines come from well-known local winemakers. They were all we had expected. The “Greeting from the Kitchen” was a piece of white bread stacked with lard – made fat. I know this is a traditional dish, but this is quite common food for a tasting menu. My two companions found it quite normal. I find it disgusting and didn't try. Preliminary remark: I love summer and hate cold. But in this restaurant the temperature was really very high, even if it was completely good and pleasant outside. This condition works very my judgment because you could not enjoy the dinner at all. The food was good, but everything special. And we had to leave the restaurant before dessert because a colleague got crazy because this hot environment.

5 courses tasting menu was top. Goat fresh cheese on salad, pumpkin ginger soup, homemade pawlings Ravioli, wild boar on fried cabbage with potato cookies and then a walnut jam with potted ice cream and Zwetschgen ice cream. Every gang a pleasure! Thanks also for the pleasant service! Always happy!
