We ended up here because the overrated Battenheimer Hof was shut for a private do which we didn't find out until we arrived (we had previously tried several times to telephone to reserve a table but nobody answered the phone).Anyway, we ended up here and can only recommend it. The menu is shortish but adequate for what is described as Weincafé and the food that was offered was excellent. The courtyard has a pleasant atmosphere, especially when it gets dark and the lights go on. In particular, the service was delightful.The Weincafé zur Angela not only saved our evening but made it one to remember.

Passé devant ce weinstube par hasard et quel grand petit bijou. Nous avons eu deux énormes morceaux de gâteau et de café. J'avais du fromage au four, qui était vraiment savoureux et que mon partenaire avait une biénenstiche très humide et savoureux. Globalement, une place très chaleureuse et ... confortable avec du personnel très sympathique. Cet endroit deviendra un arrêt de café ordinaire
about this weinstube went randomly and what a great little gem. we had two huge pieces of cake and coffee. I had baked cheesecake that was really delicious and had my partner beeenstich, which was very humid and delicious. a very warm and cozy place with very friendly staff. this place will be a regular coffee break!
