Wellington Point Takeaway

You often hear the phrase, "they don't make them like they used to."I'm happy to report this place does. For our first visit we had a Takeaway - Monthly Special. Two Burgers, 2 cod & serving of Chips. Everything is packed and nicely wrapped for the trip home. The drive home in the car everything smelled great! The hamburgers are substantial and not at all like the sanitised burgers you get from the large multi-national chains. These burgers are generously filled with all good things that an old style burger should have. The Fish (cod) tasted fresh and portions were generous and The chips were great. I wished I had found this place years ago.

Been buying Fish and Chips at Marys for the last 25 years or so and never been disappointed yet. Very popular with the locals who know she does the best Fish n Chips in Wellington. Hamburgers are fantastic huge old fashioned burgers with beetroot, cheese, onions, etc and fish and chips are great tasting as well - good size servings. Gets busy on Friday and Saturday nights so us locals know to do a phone order and then pick up. Mary always has a friendly smile and greeting to all the customers.

We have been visiting this Takeaway for about 20 years and have always found the food and service to be excellent. Tonight I ordered two pieces of grilled Sea Perch, paid for two and got three - beautifully cooked and just at the "Melt in the mouth stage." Yum! The hamburgers also are fantastic value for money and they taste great as well.Will we be back for more - count on it!

Was pretty good lunch! Really good priced! $25 got us sooo many chips, 2 pieces of fish, 2 potato cakes, tomato sauce, tarter sauce, 2 600ml bottles of coke and a bonus piece of fish! Not bad at all. The potato cake was my favourite!!!! I'd recommend going there and if we are in the area I'd go again! Réservez une table maintenant

If you want the good old fashion Fish and Chips piled up then this is the place you want to visit. This place gives you value for your money as well as great service.They dont count every chip they pack if you get what In saying like other places do.

Mary has been here for ever. Its a no frills value for money takeaway. Only one type of fish on offer 'red cod from South Africa' but i do wonder if it is. Lots os chips and not overly expensive. 3 stars.

We ordered the family pack plus a couple of extras for 10 of us and there were leftovers still. We had visitors from Brisbane and Townsville and they absolutely loved the food.

Coffee was bit weak could have been hotter and breakfast was yummy but could have been a bit hotter too service was good
