West Coast Smoke and Tap House is a great little Mom and Pop restaurant/ bar . We actually found it because Smokey and the brisket ran out of brisket and only had frozen chicken sandwiches, umm No. So we googled BBQ places close to 6 found West Coast Smoke and Tap House. The food was amazing. The employees were great and very friendly. The price was a little high but totally worth it. This was also on Monday Night and they had the football game on. Eagles vs. The Chiefs. All the tvs were on the game. We will definitely go back. I had the rib Plat, and my husband had the brisket plate. Both come with 2 sides . They have a lot of choices. West Coast is my favorite neighborhood restaurant, hands down! The best craft beer selection around and delicious food with killer daily specials like the loaded bacon meatloaf sandwich in my photos (it was AMAZING!!! To top it all off, everyone that works there is super friendly and they'll remember you if you become a regular (which you will, once you taste the food . The prime rib special on Fridays is top knotch, and you gotta try the wings on Mondays. There's always a game on the TVs, patio is dog friendly, and did I mention the cookies? Yes, try the cookies!
Rad Fish n Chips... great service... servers were ALL in the weeds and getting tripple sat, but they crushed it. We WILL be back. Burger was WAY overworked and patted out, consistency of soft foamy meat loaf, not a good chew. If you have no teeth, then the burger is perfect but will NOT get that again. Otherwise, everything else looked amaizing that went by us out of the kitchen.
This was my first time coming over to this bar, but unfortunately, it fell short. The waitress lacked basic courtesy and provided an unfriendly service. She placed my food on the table without speaking to me and just turned around. A disappointing 2-star experience. Would've been 1 star but the food was actually pretty good for the price. To make a long story short, she eventually corrected the situation and gave us a 50% discount on the sandwich that wasn’t ours. Thankfully, the sandwich itself didn’t disappoint! It was just the service that fell short this time. Despite this experience, we still love this place!
The food is good. They weren't overly crowded at the time we went and the service was great. The parking was easy as well. The food is a bit pricey but im starting to see that anywhere that serves meat has increased their prices. I assume it's due to the rising food costs.
