we stayed in west street hotel in the year 2019 and again 2022. we were just as happy as the second visit was first. in the moment when they go to the lobby, the staff is friendly, helpful and well maintained. finn, the dogman, is a super tasty bite. we remembered him when he was a pup and we were so happy that he was still at work! the hotel is beautiful and we love the whole mood of it and the location. we love to visit the sister hotel on the street and enjoy pleasant experiences at both places. the views are not to be beaten. we enjoy our balcony with sea view. we also enjoy the restaurant, Paddy’s, below. always consistently good and decent prices. the personal is always friendly. we recommend this hotel to spend time in the beautiful bar harbor.
we had already in place. my wife tested positiw on covid a few days before our trip. called to cancel, was said that it would remain within the eras window, according to their policy and that if I canceled, the full amount for 2 nights that is not cheap. or I could get back to sleep, one time. So I was planning on september at the beginning, just to let our airline cancel all the flights (in juli). I called the hotel, tried to cancel and get my money back, was said that since we tried in the mai, the policy was still in force, and I will lose the full amount for 2 days stay. this place and its policy was one!
beautiful room downtowb bar harbour. go to great restaurants. beautifully decorated room large enough for the family of 6. close to the national park acadia. amazing view in the night of the harbour. friendly and appealing staff. access to the beautiful outdoor pool on the harbour.
