WestWaters Bistro - Réservation de table

Looking for somewhere different to go for dinner so we decided to try WestWaters Bistro.I was very pleasantly surprised. The venue was good and service was very good. Firstly we ordered a Cocktail of the week for $10 which was very nice and refreshing. While the menu seemed a bit more adventurous than we would normally eat we decided on a small share plate of Smoked salmon tartare on smashed avocado which was really lovely but not what I would call a share plate but an entree for one. I had the Seared salmon fillet on smashed pumpkin and my husband had Pan fried Barramundi with kipfler potato which we both enjoyed. Disappointed that our group of 8+ was adjacent to another large group, when there was so much room still available as there was only a few there, made it hard to move chairs back, and competing with another conversation from that table. Great kids play area. Smoking areas outside available. We weren't allowed to sub out the chips and salad for vegetables, with the Parma ($23), and the Fish & Chips ($21), we where recommended the $3 side of vegetable or the $6 large side. The salad that came with the meal in a small bowl, was very disappointing. The Kids meals were very good.

Located inside the Mercure Hotel Caroline Springs Vic - safe, spacious, cozy-comfortable bistro dining. Lunch or dinner with a view of the man made Lake. Tall glass panels, natural light @ day time.Plenty to choose from on the ala carte menu - very well priced - good food!Helpful, attentive staff. Busy at dinner time - but plenty of seats to accommodate with big tables to suit.Look for daily/weekly specials not available from the menu.Practical and safe dining within the hotel premises.

We visited Westwaters Bistro for a family birthday celebration. Restaurant has lovely views out over the lake. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Meals were large and delicious, deserts were amazing. I enjoyed a deconstructed banana parfait, whilst others in our group enjoyed the desert sharing platter. Meals are a little bit upmarket and the price reflects this. Can get a bit noisy in the restaurant. Overall a lovely meal. Réservez une table maintenant

Had a Sunday lunch with the family and chose the Seafood Pie dish as it was over the Easter weekend. Was very disappointing. Limited seafood and the sourdough bread crust topping was cut out piece layered over the top. Not what I expected. The service was good and the other meals were better accepted by the family than mine. Been here before but this was below par

This an Accor hotel and the 'mid-tier' bistro is part of the larger complex.The staff are well trained and the menu provides a reasonable, fair priced selection. Its a pleasent setting especially if you view the lake outside. It was quite cool outside when we were there, but i can see sitting outside having a drink on the deck would be nice.Ill be back.

If you are feeling hungry the Eggs Royale are a winner. My preference is always to have Tabasco but occasionally some places run out of this spicy elixir so the good people here substituted with a small bowl of Sriracha. A nice setting by the lake with friendly fast service and great coffee (long black) made this a great experience

Cafe food quite good. Restraunt not good. The outside area facing the lake is a good spot to eat on a nice day but very dirty at times and chairs and cushions need changing.Sports bar has some reasonable items on the menu. Shopping centre right next door and a nice walk around the lake after lunch. Réservez une table maintenant

We enjoyed a good value breakfast in the cafe. Got us to a good start for the day. Very quiet, relaxing background music and views across the lake. We both enjoyed a warm croissant with Grilled bacon and scrambled egg.

Good variety of classic desserts that is flavourful and appealing. Tried the cheesecake and the chocolate caramel tart with brandy snap and hazelnut ice-cream.
