After years we made a trip to the Wettelsheim cellar in Treuchtlingen. It is known above all by the beautiful view, the savory beer and hearty bread times. We did not encounter a problem there in time, the cellar opened Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. The first impression was the smell of wood smoke and of boiler meat. The menu is on large wooden boards and offers hearty dishes of Franconian cuisine from top to skate. In the beer garden you are served, only the seat cushions you need to get yourself if necessary.
