While passing through Shrewsbury for the first time, I came across The Wheatsheaf High Street and decided to stop in for a drink. However, it quickly became clear that I wasn’t a local, as both staff and customers seemed to notice. When I stood at the end of the bar to order, two other customers who arrived after me were served first. The place has a very cliquey atmosphere, catering mainly to regulars, which holds back what could otherwise be a fantastic town centre pub. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
