Wheelers Bakery - Réservation de table

Dropped in to grab something for late lunch and it was convenience on the way somewhere close by. There was a convenience store next to it but wanted to have some hot pasty. It was mid afternoon but there were full of food available...no good customer service though! Looked unhappy lady served us with no smile or greeting (lol). A doorstep sandwich with Turkey slice (ham) with salad £2.90 had no flavour at all at least it looked handmade. Steak slice £1.85 was heated by microwave warm also had no flavour. Regret to shop there to be honest.

Stopped on off chance to get lunch , lady who served me had just served someone else and handled money when she picked up my roll and began filling it with her bare hands , no tongs or gloves and no handwashing ! She finished my roll put it in a bag and then pushed her hair off her face and took my money before serving next person . Went out the shop and put roll in the bin YUK YUK YUK ! Please whoever owns this place give your ladies a lesson in food prep and hygiene , you need tongs and gloves and use one person to take the money .

I am regular customer to rayners lane branch. Most of the days, I been saved from the guy name of VICTOR. Really he is very good services, very warm welcome, very helpful, very happy smile, good product knowledge, and he love to help to customers always. I love to go and do my bread shopping in that branch. Because i love his customer services. I wish all the branches staffs like him do their services. i love to see him in good position at future. Thank You JAY

Visited wheelers in london road portsmouth to buy my lunch and I was discusted to see the girl who served me had just finished serving someone and had handled money and without washing her hands or even wearing gloves made my roll,then ran her hands through her hair and picked up a cake I wanted that may I add was stale !!.I could not eat my roll I put it in the bin ,very bad hygiene practice will never go there again .. I always come here when in Portsmouth and the atmosphere seems unchanged in 30+ years. A small, friendly, very clean local bakery. The granary bread is excellent, the cream cakes are like going back in time, really indulgent. Anything I've had from there has been good though- it never disappoints. Worth stopping off to buy bakery items instead of the supermarket

beautiful little bakery the staff are so welcoming and friendly eating is impeccable, with mouthwatering cake and baked, I will definitely come back I recommend to everyone who walk past rader bakery to dive in, they will not be disappointed

Young girl served me, used hands to package up all items, then took my cash, and then served next client without washing them. Basic hygiene rules say you do not handle cash and food together

we, where neighbors for 9 years, and it was always my daily load to buy fresh bread. a beautiful feeling, wake up in the middle of the night and smell freshly baked bread from my garden! Réservez une table maintenant

I love this place friendly staff, good selection of cakes. her granatapfel is my favorite, especially if still warm.
