First time playing here and I have to say it won't be the last time either. This course is not for the faint of heart by any means. Tight fairways lined by trees and houses. The overall condition of the course was great. The fairways, greens and rough all were very playable. The cart paths are all paved with some rough spots but I don't know a course around with paved cart paths that don't have some rough spots. When I played it was near the end of their season and the mowers were still running and keeping things groomed. It was a rainy day so that added to the difficulty of this course as well. You really have to think about your shots here. Lots of undulations, water and not much flat grou...
Course was in fair condition, though tee boxes were poor. If these were the only problems I would review much higher. Despite not being informed before teeing off, there was a scheduled wedding in which the GM prevented golfers from teeing off at the 18th hole. This caused a 45 minute backup in play. Instead of waiting to tee off, we returned to the clubhouse to ask about the backup. GM was incredibly rude and refused to right the situation in any way. Will not be returning to this course.
Played late June and the course was ok at best. Many bare spots on the fairways, tee boxes didn’t look like they’ve been cut in a while. Greens were a little slow, but not horrible. Many sand traps were not hittable. The course as a whole needs some love. Last time I was here for a business outing it was awesome, but this was maybe back around 2008 or so. I hope this course comes back!
Sloppy. We had a 1:08 tee time and the 12:28 tee time was still waiting to get on at 1:15. Asked the front desk guy what the hold up was and he just chalked it up to being the holiday weekend. Regardless, there needs to be a ranger on the coarse keeping people moving and finding the group that’s holding everyone up.
