Whistling Kettle - Réserver une table

We used to enjoy dining at the Whistling Kettle for many years, but recently we have had several disappointing meals. My husband always used to love their Hot Roast Beef sandwiches, so it was a go-to spot for us. However, our recent experiences have left us feeling unsatisfied.

My husband and I visited Whistling Kettle last night for dinner. We used a coupon for a two-for-one deal and ordered meatloaf for my husband and a hot beef sandwich for myself. Both entrees came with the choice of soup or salad, and we both opted for the turkey rice soup.

Just average food and atmosphere. Bacon was crisp as requested but pancakes were very thin and underdone in the centre, not light and fluffy at all. French toast was good but my scrambled eggs were underdone in the centre. Homefries were very good.

This restaurant is fantastic for breakfast. I haven't had the chance to try their lunch menu yet, but their breakfast, coffee, and service are excellent!

French toast should be called French bread. Wasn't even cooked, no egg on it at all. Just bread with cinnamon. Last time I will ever eat there!!
