The staff later apologized for the owner’s behavior, explaining that they had no problem with our table and were baffled by his reaction. As we were leaving, the owner didn’t even come to apologize personally; instead, he sent another employee to do it for him. Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing experience, and it was humiliating to be treated that way in front of everyone. I find it appalling that his employees had to step in and explain his short temper, and it shows a lack of humility on his part that he would not acknowledge his mistakes directly. His reaction was unprofessional, overly dramatic, and completely unwarranted.

Great atmosphere. Mead is great! Their menu offers gluten free pizza (heggies frozen) and on the phone they said they have pans and utensils just for gluten free. However watching them unload the pizza, their gluten free pans are mesh! So not protected at all from cross contamination. If I were alone I would have returned it. However my wife was hungry so she could eat it. This was a major disappointment. The mead however was amazing. The selection of meads was great. The atmosphere was also very cool. If you aren 't Celiac this is a great place. If you are a celiac, make sure to eat before coming here.
This restaurant has a spacious and cozy ambiance, making it a perfect spot to hang out with friends and family while enjoying some delicious mead honey wine. They also offer food, all set in a really cool Viking-themed atmosphere that gives off strong Skyrim vibes. I highly recommend trying a flight of meads since they have a wide selection, which is a great way to discover your favorites. You can then take home your favorites in growlers for later enjoyment. It's a unique place with delicious craft mead that I prefer over White Winter Winery and definitely more than Chauser's!
A friend of mine scheduled a birthday party on the night they were closed. Something went wrong with the online transaction and the owner was there and did'nt know we were coming. Instead of turning us away, he put on his apron and opened the place just for our group. Im sure he was looking forward to a night off but instead served us. The Mead was top notch, strongly recommend #7 **** Beard! Will be coming back.

This is an excellent spot to visit and explore! They offer a wide variety, and the staff is fantastic! We decided to stop by on a whim and found them to be very knowledgeable and accommodating. The tasting flights are definitely the way to go, as they allow you to sample several different meads. We ended up taking a growler home with us and can’t wait to return!
Went in and tried a flight of their mead. There was only one that was okay. Literally all of them taste and smell like how weed smells and I dont want to drink weed water. I don't understand how or why but it's gross. The bottled stuff is okay. But whatever they serve from the tap tastes so absolutely odd I couldn't drink them.
The atmosphere is fantastic, and the honey meads are delightful. It's a wonderful spot that’s a bit off the typical tourist trail.
We always make time to visit White Bear Meadery when we are in town. The new place looks great! Always a fun time.
