I’ve not eaten in at White Deer but when collecting take-aways it has always looked cosy. The staff are friendly and the service is very quick (just ten minutes at quiet times) so I’ve been back twice. Additionally, the pizza itself is was really good, a punchy tomato sauce, crispy base and plenty of cheese and there were even vegan options (something I was surprised to see in France). The vegan pizza was pretty good and had lots of flavour with the roasted vegetables on the top, the only thing I’d say is that there aren’t many gluten free options (if any) but I suppose this is to be expected from a pizzeria.
Super personnel sympathique, super emplacement près des pistes et des appartements de Chamrousse 1700. La navette est à environ 100 mètres si vous êtes dans une autre partie de la station. Très bonne nourriture. Nous avons testé les pizzas (3) et les lasagnes, tous excellents. Les prix sont "normaux" pour une station de ski. Le personnel est vraiment gentil et l'atmosphère est détendue et calme. Il y a un petit espace avec quelques jeux pour les enfants.
We popped in here earlier in the day to book a table as there were seven of us, but were told to just turn up. We did and had a lovely meal. The pizzas were very good, with a choice of tomato base or cream base. Absolute delicious. The wine by the jug was very good value and we all had a fantastic meal, with plenty to eat and drink for about €20 a head. They were also playing some great 80’s tunes on the night we went, which was right up our strasse!
