From the moment we arrived when we left, we were very well looked after. The staff was friendly, kind, welcoming and clearly infamous proud of their work! The menu was interesting, appealing and beautiful seasonal. The salmon ballantine was a special hit, how was the beet catcher We had the pig and lamb for the net. The lamb mousaka was delicious, if I were to be something picky, I would rather have the lamb frame pink! The pig was great finished with a cheese board, wide selection of English and Scottish cheese with 4 beautiful chtneys n jelly’s When it was my birthday, they made it with a surprise chocolate brownie and candle all in all well done and thanks! Food was excellent and the service top notch. Restaurant was very busy with a cozy but bustling atmosphere. My only criticism was that our table was right under a speaker and the music was a little too loud for a restaurant environment. I did ask for it to be turned down a little, but it wasn’t and it was hard to hear across the table. Would definitely recommend this restaurant 5*

This was our second visit, last year we were delighted with the overall experience and wanted to return. We were not disappointed by the sequel. A busy Saturday night did not stop them giving our table the care and attention it wanted nor ensuring that our food was excellent. If you decide to go, leave a little space for dessert its well worth the effort.

Amazing lunch again today. Beautiful dog friendly pub. We and the dog were spoiled. It is great to find a place that makes amazing food and drinks, and allows us to bring our four-legged friend
