White Hart Ironbridge

We stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights as part of our first visit to Ironbridge. The town itself is a gem, with the museum sites obviously being the main attraction. We chose the White Hart as our base and were pleased with our choice. The room was lovely with a great view of the river, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts in the morning were 'straighforwards ' (no menu standard full English, but you could make any combination of the standard items but no 'smashed avo and poached egg ' type option). My wife and I would both give 5 stars for the food. But 1 star for the waitress who served us. She seemed totally uninterested and made no attempt to engage with us. No smile, no how are you today. Once food arrived no one came to ask if good all OK. Once finished it was like here 's the bill bye Service charge was already added to the bill. I wonder why!!

Amazing food with fantastic friendly staff x I've gone to most the restaurants in Ironbridge and this is by far the best x The food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing x the staff make you feel very welcome x

wow.....superb Sunday Roast for me, and beetroot wellington for my partner. Add very friendly staff, excellent beers and wine, and you've got a perfect sunday lunch, and very good value for money.

A nicely located pub with terrace and nice indoor seating. Very nice food and the servers were pleasant. We would go again when next around.
