It is a cozy and energetic pub. There are a considerable amount of beers to choose, but keep in mind the staff/waiters are not welcoming at all with non speaking french tourists. At the bar counter I asked about three different waiters if they spoke english so I could order and all I got was a “no” and then they ignored me. I only was able to get a beer because the guy sitting at the counter ordered for me in french.
Not sure why there’s a bunch negative reviews We came from the road to Geneva highway to get something to eat It’s lot of fun!! it is simple restaurant (food is basic) but the atmosphere and beers are outstanding…Also the locals hang out here We felt well looked after and had a great time if you’re in a group order the tower (photo attached) it’s a blast!!
We wanted to grab a late lunch but were more or less overlooked by the less than energetic waiting staff. Average food and average service. We should have looked futher but were tempted by the ostensibly English Pub sounding name. Only a name as it turned out. Could have done better and walked on.
