Food and the service was exceptional however, what lets it down (like most good pubs) is the extortionate wine list prices. £6.50 for a large wine is simply profiteering. But this place is nearly always fully booked and even though i disagree with their pricing structure, we will go there again.

had a wonderful family dinner at the who tonight the place on the look fanstactic eating well, what can I say I had steak ale pie and to be honest, it is the best I ever had the staff were welcome and attentive all in all a very pleasant evening would recommend to any case.

I have to be mine and the family favorite house. the staff, the food and the location are tops. we had many a fantastic meal here and recommend it very much.

lovely country pub, lovely 3 course turkey meal and nice cider on tap....fully recommended for quality food and nice country atmosphere top marks...
