I have not come back to GG Tea Cafe since it rebranded itself from Who's Tea. I had a BOGO to claim here so I decided why not try it again. L O C A T I O N GG Tea Cafe is located in a plaza with Full House Dumpling next to it off of Stevenson Blvd. There's a fair amount of parking shared by all the establishments in this plaza. This place was surprisingly good. : I actually discovered this place thru an instagram and yelp ad and I'm glad I did! There is currently a promo offering a free boba milk tea if you follow them on IG. The boba milk tea wasn't overly sweet and the boba were a good texture and sweetness. And they also had a $3 special that week for a choice of mango milk, strawberry milk and honeydew milk. Based on the recommendation from the cashier, I got the mango milk tea and it was DELICIOUS! I got 100% sweet, no ice even tho other yelpers warned their drinks are too sweet, but I didn't think it was overly sweet. Maybe I have a sweet tooth : . I really love this place! It’s quite underrated and has plenty of seating inside. Their passion fruit green tea is the best I’ve ever had! The strawberry milk is also delicious and my dad's favorite, which makes this location special for me. The service is excellent; the staff is friendly and quick! I enjoy coming here to avoid the busy crowds, especially when there are 20 other boba shops nearby. Sometimes, simplicity is what you need! I wanted boba but I had to pick a place that was close to work and opens early. My boss raved how good the coffee was at this place so I decided to come here. I showed up right when they opened and ordered taro milk tea with boba (full sugar) and strawberry smoothie with boba (half sugar). The strawberry smoothie was good but I couldn't taste the acidity from the strawberry so as I was drinking the smoothie, I kept thinking that there must be something else in this drink. Came for the grand opening and got a $3 milk tea. We had to flag someone down because the digital order pad didn 't reflect the discounted price. Tea was very bland and watered down. It left a bad aftertaste. You could not taste the tea just the cream and sugar. They apparently had only one more scoop of boba left and said there would still be a charge if we were to take this scoop. We came on a Saturday around dinner time. It 's odd they would run out of boba before the peak hour for most boba shops. Inside there 's no music playing like other boba shops. The decorations are a bit tacky you have left over tinsel from Christmas and also random knick knack from i.e. valentines.
My girlfriend and I visited this place for some boba, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was clean, cozy, and well-decorated. The owner was very friendly, and I really enjoyed my rose tea. My girlfriend chose the regular milk tea. We ended up sitting there for over two hours, and then I caught a whiff of waffles... I couldn't resist, so I ordered the green tea flavor. It was definitely delicious! Overall, we had a great time at GG Tea Cafe. I wish I had taken more pictures, but hopefully next time!
Met with friends for lunch in fremont and saw this new boba place with grand opening banners. Wanted a tea after and stopped in. Both drinks tasted good but we asked for 25 percent less sweet and it still tasted very sweet, next time would ask for 50 perfect less sweet. Mango lime and milk tea would both be repeats with less sweetness. Location is right next to the 880 exit and in a large plaza with other Asian foods like pho and Chinese. Would come back if my friends wanted to meet here again.
I had a great experience at this restaurant! The tea was excellent, and the popcorn chicken was delicious. They were kind enough to provide me with sauce when I asked. They also offer bento boxes, which are perfect for a complete meal on the go. The customer service was outstanding. I’m definitely going to be a regular here!

Surprisingly good cafe latte. Huge cup. I see why it's $5. Better than most coffee shops.
