I've been here for some time, and I really don't know why I haven't checked her yet. You are always quick to welcome and take your order... very friendly staff! I think the only appetizer I didn't have is the famous egg rolls, but I'm not really in the mood for those when I'm there. I like the Peay bread, so if you have time to order for it... to dig some of it. I enjoy everything I've got here, and I haven't had a bad sandwich so far. I must say that my favorite is The Green Monstah! I like the Green Monstah Extreme I had today. The sausage is cooked directly with the scratch outside to give it that snap when you enter it. I wish they had fresh side pieces, fresh cuts and fresh broken onions... I know it can be a big question because there are frozen items like these are so a time saver and a bit more friendly on the budget, but it would just make the meal so much better (in my opinion). One keeps me from giving five stars. So if you are in the area for an event at APSU or you have lived here for a week or 10 years, go to Wicked Good Sandwiches and take a bite to eat. I think you'll like it. Go Yankees!
I wanted to like this place after reading previous reviews? It?s just NOT it? It?s not horrible food, however, just mediocre. I went inside to order carry out. Placed our order and waited around 35-40 minutes to receive it. The place was not even that busy? By the time we were handed our food and walked out to the car the pickle fries and pepper Jack bites were cold. They were not fresh as if they had just been made bagged and handed off as they should?ve been? Fast forward to digging into the rest of our order; the fries were EXTREMELY soggy as if they had been sitting in the box for the 35 minutes we were waiting on our order? We also ordered the southwest chicken and the Philly. I ordered the Philly with no mushrooms but add grilled onions. There were no grilled onions put on my sandwich, the Philly had ZERO flavor at all and was a very dry sandwich. The southwest chicken was pretty decent but delivered cold just like the entirety of our order. I do not recommend.
Good sandwiches and employees! My wife and I had our daughter and first we thought we went to a bar. After leaving to take our child elsewhere, one of the workers has stopped us and asked us if everything is okay. After the explanation we thought it was a bar, we were sure it was?t and that our child was welcome! Customer service was great with a friendly staff, great atmosphere and the food was good! I got the Ccubano and my wife got the turkey pesto with a latte. Come back!
