stopped at a venerable favorite for pizza: wick is at the corner of the baxter avenue and highland avenue. as usual for a Saturday, the joint was packed and busy, filled with the aroma of browning cheese and the thousands, if not millions, of pizzas that produced their kitchen. found a cool and comfortable stand over in the bar area (a nice possibility of filling young children who had run here to get away from a frying water, there and everywhere) it came in short order, hot and the cheese still a little bubbly from the one of them. two halves of a Hoagie beutel, smeared with garlic butter, some of the excellent cheese blend of wick and a chip of Italian crumbles above. not unusual but def...
Wicks is my go-to place for pizza and pasta. The best neighborhood Italian place to meet up and celebrate. If you sign up, they keep track of your birthday, etc, and not only wish you, but also add a gift or two. I highly recommend Wicks. Locations in the Hikes point area McMahan Plaza , and Baxter ave.
The food and service was great I didn't appreciate not being able to substitute toppings for other toppings They told me that I could take toppings off But I could not add any back in their place Without paying
We had lunch with our son at Wicks on our way through Louisville Ky. It was very good. Hubby got the un crust it was very good. I got the 8 beef and mushrooms it was very good too.

one of my favorite pizza places. pizzas are always tasty and highly stacked. apps and salads are also very good. the delivery time can be somewhat slow.
It was the best pizza in Louisville 30 years ago and it still is today. One piece is a meal!
