Wanting a break from Autobahn driving, we turned off near Hamm and followed our noses, happily arriving at Wieland Stuben for a much needed lunch break. We were warmly welcomed and found a place in the beautifully decorated restaurant. It was a shame that the weather was cold and damp as the terrace looked extremely inviting - we were sorry that we couldn't sit there. Herr Oberle and his team provided excellent service and we had a lunch to remember including Wieland Stuben's unique "hamburger" with smoked salmon. At the end of July it was the first time there. Very spontaneously reserved outside everything was occupied, but also within you could enjoy a pleasant ambience. From the atmosphere it was perhaps a bit stiff, but it was probably in the audience; We had fantastic courses (Starter, Intermediate Course and Main Court). Unfortunately there was no room for the dessert. Every dish was a joy. The service was professionally friendly. We like to come back.
A top-class restaurant and is one of the best restaurants in Germany and not without reason. The dishes are perfect, prepared with lots of heart blood, love and professionalism. The service also searches for its same. There is nothing missing, and the service staff is always at the place without it becoming too annoying. Just perfect. The price/performance ratio is absolute top. An absolute must.
The Wieland-Stuben is an excellent restaurant with exquisite cuisine. The card is constantly changing and so only what was bought fresh is offered. The service is more than friendly, accommodating and adheres to the smallest Knigge rules. For each of the times extraordinary food wants to go and puts value on quality instead of quantity at food. A very attentive but inconspicuous service and the excellent cuisine make the visit an experience again and again. It's more like eating with friends than an anonymous restaurant. The ambience also contributes to this. Like in a tastefully decorated living room. We look forward to the next visit every time.
