"Outstanding. Every time, everything, spot on delicious. We are always looking forward to next time. The chargrilled octopus has to be one of my favorites. My husband and I always ask what's for dessert first because we have been known to eat that first!"

I was here so often, it would be hard to count and until this last Charleston Resturant Week I decided to take off a star. A friend of mine went to pick up for us after a hard week that happened as Charleston Resturant Week. We didn't call earlier because we wanted to have a drink while we waited for the prepared food. They told us they wouldn't take them out of Resturant Week. What? Even if there weren't room at the bar, we would be happy to wait in the car. SUPREME DISAPPOINTMENT and I haven't been there since. I understand the capacity requirements, but turning away the local frequent males seems like bad. SMH. It was the first time I felt I received bad customer service. Well, although I have to take a star for my recent experience... THE FOOD, SERVICE, AMBIANCE, DECOR, DRINKS, ETC. I love it and I'm never disappointed except that once during the Resturant Week. My FAVORITES are in the preferential order as follows: Pappardelle mit Guanciale, Whitemarsh Farm Pilze, Arugula, Parmesan Baked Potatoes with truffle Aioli, Skalion, Parmesan Crispy Calamari mit Marinara, Garlic Aioli, Lemon, Petersilie Bruschetta mit Auberginen, Feldbäuerchen, Parmesan, Arugula Your speciality will blow you out of the water. Who's that? I'll be back, I love the place too much, but I wish the staff had better treated a local regular at night. You will enjoy it! O and it's on John's Island, but the ride worth it, it's right over the bridge really! Look! You'll love it! PROMISE. We eat there often and they are always great. Absolutely the best restaurant in Charleston and not overpriced. Don't fall for traps like Halls, their prices are a joke and the food is just okay. The fried Calamari is a must! Veal is also excellent. I also enjoy their chicken parm, octopus star and if you are lucky enough to go when they have their mushroom soup, it is amazing.

AMAZING! We've tried many restaurants in Charleston, that's hands down our favorite! We had some of our best meals here. It is primarily Italian food, but you can also get other unique styles of cooking. Service is excellent. The area is unique and has different rooms. Food is cheap Chef Larson is a rock star!

I'd post a photo, but the food didn't last long. One of the best meals I had. Octopus appetizer was great. The short ribs and the Angoli were both fantastic. Our waitress was nice and the food was quick. My 10-year-old best made it together. Dad, I don't like this place, I love him, we're coming back
