I would like to express my gratitude to the staff at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar Grill. Every time I or my friends visit, we receive excellent service. Tonight, I went with two friends and the food was amazing, cooked to perfection. On July 16, 2022, the food was hot and served on time, and our server was extremely polite. She went out of her way to accommodate my severe food allergy to a common spice, making sure my meal was prepared correctly. The staff always goes above and beyond to make changes to my order without any hassle or extra charge. I am extremely grateful for their extra effort and support. Chuck's Roadhouse was a great place to eat in. We visited while the restriction framework was in the Red Zone. There was a 25min wait but we had arrived at peak dinner time and happily sat in the car while waiting to be called . Time flew by! Upon entry, Chuck's has a large dining room with a great flow especially over by the fireplace and big windows. I noticed lots of patio tables outside clearly ready to be used in the summer season. Our waitress/server was very friendly and checked up on us quite often. She was able to offer suggestions on the menu and advise about what items contained. The food was great! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my lunch at this restaurant. After being disappointed by the quality of food at another Chucks Roadhouse, I was a bit hesitant about this visit. However, I am happy to report that the food was delicious. I ordered a burger with fries and although it didn't come with the sauce I wanted, the staff had no problem accommodating my request. I usually don't eat the bun, but this time I enjoyed it so much that I ate the whole thing. The wine was also very good. we liked the menu and noticed a fairly large clientele at 5 in the afternoon, so we decided to try it. It turned out that the 'crowd' was from a busload of tourists and apparently the restaurant wasn't staffed up to handle it. The service was very slow. The PEI mussels were not very large and the broth was some weird tomato-based one. We ordered a dinner salad which contained old limp lettuce that was not fresh at all. The other meal was overcooked and had way too much salt. We left half of our meals on the plate. Onion soup is not as good as hyped. It was good, but nothing to write home about. Mussels were small but very good. The marinara sauce they are served in is to die for. The Delmonico with lobster mashed potatoes is wonderful. Far too much food to sample the desserts. Definitely a do again place.
