Wildfire - Lincolnshire

Two former coworkers and I meet monthly for dinner to catch up on life. Our meals were very good. The restaurant was very busy, so it was a bit loud to easily carry on a conversation. Aside from that, our server asked us 6 times Is everything okay? , Do you need anything? . After we had paid our bills ~50 minutes after our arrival , the wait staff started giving us sideways glances. I thought the industry standard is 90 minutes for fine dining establishmens. We tipped 20%. Also, I don 't appreciate the SURCHARGE on guest bills for any reason. Overhead increases should be reflected in menu prices. This seems similar to airlines charging fees for each service. There are many restaurant choices...

Always one of our favorites. For special’s occasions. The service is top. Servers are friendly and know the menu. Fish is always fresh we had the special tonight and it was amazing. Filets are cooked just to order. The mashed potatoes are amazing and potatoes Au gratin is great! Started with the chopped salad! Amazing. @food_from_the_usa

I took mom to wildfire on Erie in Chicago in 2021. The place SUCKED. Mom was flabbergasted at the lack of attention paid to us all. Now I accompanied my son in law to this wildfire for his birthday, and....it was worse! NEVER AGAIN. WILDFIRE is overrated and overpriced . Do yourself a favor. STAY AWAY! Just not as good as it used to be quality and portions are way down. We used to go one to three times a week but know find it hard to go every 6 months. Sad to see this happen.
