I used to love this place, but I am incredibly frustrated that the last 3 or 4 times I've been here my wife and I keep getting placed in the secondary rooms. These room suck, especially the one in the back corner. The atmosphere is in the main dining area and these rooms are a boring and drab money grab. If you want to use them, fine, but make them more a apart of the restaurant. I always make a reservation, and then tonight I actually just asked to be seated in the main area. I was told no because they needed to make room for other reservations. So they take us to the side room and put us at a table the same size as the 6 booths they had open. Amazing burgers! Heavenly mashed potatoes! And cheesecake that is better than homemade! Staff, manager is Kat and server was Chelsea, were welcoming and made great recommendations! Sat at the bar and waiting patiently, but unfortunately was never acknowledged so I left. The bar was less than half full and it appeared there was two bartenders. Must have been an off night. Wish them the best! Update Thank you for responding and truly appreciate your hospitality! You just made the experience “right” by simply sending the note. Well done and look forward to visiting Wildwood soon!
Unfortunately I didn't take pictures. But the ribs, asparagus and baked potatoe was delicious. The service was very good!! Other people in the group had shrimp and grits. They said it was delicious too. Been here 2 times, both times the steaks were the best I can ever remember (and I am 74). Hugh fillet, Hugh, I could hardly eat it all. You could cut it with just a fork.The mashed potatoes were equally superb. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this eatery, fantastic food and service. It was so good, we had out 50th anniversary dinner there. You will love this restaurant!!
A nice place to have dinner. Customer service is top notch. Food was just ok and priced higher than what it should be. Caesar salad was super soggy and romaine lettuce was not fresh (as shown in the pictures). Ribs were dry and the sauce wasn't anything special. The Asadero fried cheese block was a hit. And the whiskey drink was good. Come for the appetizers and drinks.
Worst dine-in experience in years. Waitress or hostess should get a different job. She had zero interest in getting our orders or our billing correct, sitting on her phone behind bar area. This place is a little too eclectic for our taste. There are too many twists and turns to have a fancy menu. They are not flexible enough to make any substitutions. A little pricey also.
