Food is absolutely delicious! If the correct operation is, it can eat some time, but the taste is worth it. In the meantime, you can also taste a glass more from the good wine selection. The services are very friendly and always ask if you need anything. The entrance from the street is hardly visible and consists only of a basement exit, but you should not be deceived. On the other hand you have a magnificent view of Moseltal, especially at sunset.
We were in the wine bar for dinner on Saturday night. The service was very friendly and attentive, the food came fast and was good. A beautiful atmosphere both in the winter garden and in the vaulted area. In the latter, the acoustics for larger, living groups are more problematic and disturbing. We couldn't have talked to other guests. In the big but a good food in a beautiful location.
Waren schon sehr oft bei der Familie Gehlen in Tarforst - hier hat man das Gefühl "zu Haus" zu sein! Immer nette zuvorkommende Bedienungen - lecker Essen - gute Getränke - nette Atmosphäre! Zu empehlen im Sommer die Terasse mit dem tollen Blick nach Trier runter und im Winter gerne der "alte" Gewölbekellerteil der Weinstube!Achtung Biertrinker - es ist eine Weinstube Bier Fehlanzeige!!!
Family-run farm with many wines and home cooking. Price/performance ratio is very good, the view from the terrace over Trier very nice. I don't like wine myself, but my friends like to enjoy it very much so I have let the grape varieties Riesling, Rivaner, Weißburgunder, Kerner, Blauer Spätburgunder, Dornfelder and Grauburgunder typical of Mosel.
