Wilkes Country Deli is simply outstanding! The two ladies running the place (Kathy and another lovely woman whose name I can't recall) are wonderful. The food is not only delicious but also very affordable. They serve a variety of creative soups that are quite tasty. The chili and the meats are fantastic as well. I particularly enjoy the turkey croissant sandwich with cranberry mayo, while my brother is a big fan of the Godmother, which features grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, red onion, and mixed greens on a grilled hero roll. You can't miss the buffalo chicken sandwich with avocado either; it's incredible. You really can't go wrong here!
I've been coming here for lunch every weekday for the past 6-7 years, and I absolutely love it! The specials and regular menu items are fantastic. The food is always fresh and delicious, though the grape tomatoes seem to be an exception for some reason. I make an effort to eat healthily, and there are always great options on the specials menu. However, when I'm in the mood for comfort food, they never let me down. The staff is also wonderful!

The staff is friendly, and they offer a wide selection of snacks and tasty homemade desserts, including various crumb cakes. It can get quite busy, so it's usually a good idea to call in your order ahead of time.
This restaurant has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid in the neighborhood. They still serve the best Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese sandwich around. I finally got to share it with my wife, and now she understands why I love it so much. You're the best!

I ordered the Italian Hoagie twice, and both times it was made perfectly. It was packed with plenty of meat, had fantastic tomatoes, and a fresh, crunchy salad. It's hard to find classic delis like this nowadays. I can't wait to go back!

Great, old fashioned sandwiches. Reminds me of my hometown deli from when I was a kid. Great roast beef, fresh rye bread, quality cold cuts. The smell when you walk in is amazing!
