I visited this pub on Saturday night and found the bar staff to be very friendly and polite. However, there was one member of staff who was collecting glasses on the floor. She approached our table, leaned over me, clicked her fingers, and demanded my empty glass. I was taken aback by how rude this young lady was. I am a regular at this pub and have never had this type of experience before. It seemed like she was being shadowed by another lady, as they were together all night. If this staff member was supposed to be in training, it was very unprofessional for her to act this way in front of her supervisor and the group I was with.
The food we had was brilliant however I was not happy with the service from Polin I think was the name when I asked someone, she came over and said food with the bluntest look on her face and wasn’t interactive at all she made...us feel like a burden to be in the pub and really made our experience there uncomfortable however I cannot fault any of the other members off staff who were highly welcoming and attentive to our needs and I would 100% come back if there was a different waitress. I also believe she was training someone so in my view this is not very professional
Family of 4 we ordered 4 different meals 3 of which they didn't have. No steak, no pie and no lasagne. I chose this place as they have quite a good choice on their menu. Shame they didn't have what we wanted. I have only...given 3 stars due to this. But it was very good for the money
My partner and I frequently dine at the William Bourne. Dee and Maria consistently provide excellent service with their friendly demeanor. The food and drinks are superb, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the added bonus of welcoming dogs makes this restaurant even more enjoyable.

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is delicious. Many customers return again and again. A special thank you to Maria, Michelle, and Donnel for their exceptional service.
today dipped into the william bourne for lunch. we had 5 selections from the small teller menu, absolutely beautiful! our daughter had the little steak they really enjoyed. we'll be back soon.
the first time they visit this pub. the eating was amazing, we had the small teller followed by chocolate wingcake apple pie. outstanding service everyone who is 100% high
Top notch fish and chips credit to the chef , fantastic service from all the staff especially the wonderful Maria , Maria !!! Definitely will be back next week !

Good food, good service, friendly staff, dogs welcome, just a great local pub! Dee is always great behind the bar, never a bad time to stop by for food or drink.
there is always a lot to choose, the service is fast and eating is good portions for a good price. good quality also!
