J'aimerais tellement donner plus d'étoiles à cet endroit, mais la nourriture était tellement décevante.. J'ai adoré l'ambiance, l'intérieur et le concept global. Mais la nourriture ne m'a pas convaincu.. je trouve que c'était plutôt cher pour ce que l'on obtient, nous avons pris deux plats à partager et presque tout était insipide ou tout simplement pas bon. Dommage car ça avait l'air fantastique. Par exemple, les mini-burgers : le pain était sans goût, la viande était extrêmement sèche, ce qui a dominé tout le burger. I really want to give this place so much more stars, but the food was so disappointing.. I loved the vibe and the interior and the overall concept. But the food could not convince me.. would call it rather expensive for what you get, we had two of the sharing plates and almost everything was underseasoned or just not that good. Too bad because it looked amazing. Eg. The mini burgers: the bun was tasteless, the meat was extremely dry which overpowered the entire burger. As we were still hungry afterwards we ordered desserts. Nous sommes venus ici avec des amis impatients d'essayer ce nouveau bar à cocktails car il est assez difficile de trouver de bons cocktails à Montpellier et nous avons été plutôt déçus. L'idée est sympa, le décor est très bien pensé et les soirées à thème doivent être agréables mais cela s'arrête là. Il y a un grand choix de cocktails présentés dans des verres originaux, mais comme le bar est si sombre, nous pouvions à peine lire le menu. Les cocktails sont arrivés assez rapidement mais mis à part l'esthétique, ils étaient assez décevants et chers. We are vegetarians, so there wasn't a lot here to offer but we noticed the prices were a little steep for everything with meat. We did order the fries which were greasy and undercooked. The drinks, however, were spot on. You can tell a lot of thought and passion went into them; the touch of cumin seeds in my Basil Hayden's cocktail was magnifique! Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur Willie Carter Sharpe en cherchant un endroit pour prendre un cocktail l'après-midi. Nous nous sommes assis au bar et avons été immédiatement accueillis par Seb et Yan. Nous avons parlé de whisky, de cocktails artisanaux et de Montpellier. Les boissons étaient délicieuses, l'intérieur était magnifique et le service ne pouvait pas être meilleur. Seb et Yan nous ont même donné une liste d'autres endroits à essayer à Montpellier et à Paris.
We stumbled upon Willie Carter Sharpe by accident, looking for a place for an afternoon cocktail. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted by Seb and Yan. We talked whiskey, craft cocktails and Montpellier. Drinks were delicious, interior was gorgeous and service couldn't have been better. Seb and Yan even gave us a list of other places to try in Montepellier and Paris.
