It's been quite a while since I've been back, but I used to party in this neighborhood including Willie's and a few other spots back in the day. Upon entering the place I was greeted so warmly it felt like I'd never left. The people were so friendly and happy to see me that I felt right at home. First off the food was good but what killed the entire vibe was how they overcharged me and still had the audacity to say it was because of the tax, when I got home and did the math it still didn't make sense. My plate was $35 my boyfriend's was $20 plus some clams were 17/18 .. that adds up to about $72 tax was apparently an additional $12 which in total was about 84, they charged me $93 and I will get my money back I did not see any gratuity added or anything plus the women there all have a stank as attitude they look at u with evil eye or weird and snatch credit cards from your hand, food was okay but definitely not worth the $93 won't be going back and def go somewhere else. I’m very disappointed with my experience at Willie’s Steak House. I went there for dinner on Saturday. When we were seated, the staff immediately told us we only had two hours to eat, but then we had to wait a long time for our food. Another staff member came over and repeated the same message. While we were still eating, the waitress told us we would have to pay $40 if we wanted to stay longer. I was shocked by her rude attitude. I recently came across Willie's Steak House on Instagram and realized I had visited years ago. I went back with my family on a Saturday around 5-6 pm, but was disappointed to find the place nearly empty and unusually quiet. The atmosphere lacked any energy or ambiance, quite the opposite of what the Instagram posts suggested. There wasn’t even any music playing; the DJ only started setting up as we were finishing our meal and getting ready to leave. Saturdays should be lively, but this wasn’t the case. On the bright side, the food was tasty and the portions generous. I might return just for the food, but overall, the experience didn’t meet my expectations and felt pretty uneventful.

They tried to charge my card twice, which won’t happen. I’ve already contacted my bank because it seems like they have a scheme to overcharge customers who pay with credit or debit cards. It feels like they saw my last review and thought it would be funny to do this. Let me be clear: I won’t tolerate this, and if it happens again, I will take action. Don’t test me.
After we prepaid for over 20 people for a fixed menu for a dinner after my grandma's funeral. Some extra family members joined in after and without any prior notice after we all ate they told them they had to pay with cash or use a credit card with a $40 service fee. Meanwhile they are taking cards at the bar.
The service from the female bartender was terrible- we paid drinks all night with card and when it was time to pay for food they said we had to pay cash if not it was going to be extra money. They money hungry and don't deserve your business
