After several attempts to dine at Willy Kitchen without success, we finally timed our visit perfectly and secured a table. The service was exceptional, standing out from any other place we've been to. My granddaughter was a bit frightened by the Halloween decorations on the counter, and the waitress kindly removed them to help her feel more comfortable. The food was outstanding, and the prices were on par with what you’d find at Bob Evans or Cracker Barrel. I do wish we had arrived before breakfast ended, but the lunch menu did not disappoint. After months of trying to visit this restaurant, I finally had the chance to go. Unfortunately, breakfast isn’t served all day, and I missed it by just 20 minutes. So, instead of indulging in the sausage gravy biscuits and cream chip beef, I opted for a turkey BLT with corn fritters. The BLT came on somewhat stale multigrain bread and was quite disappointing. The fried corn fritters were also lacking in flavor. I would rate the food a 1.8 out of 5. I'm hesitant to return for other menu items. The highlight of my visit was definitely the customer service, which I would rate a solid 4 out of 5. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience.
Found on internet stopped in for supper. Only about ten tables or booths. If you're in area and tired of same old chain food, stop here.Had crab cake melt plenty of crab and local bread toasted crispy not burned. Worth the money. Might stop for breakfast!! Atmosphere?? Came here today with a friend to try this place as it has amazing reviews. Atmosphere is lacking but food was legit. Coffee was really good, food took a while to arrive but everything was fresh and hot. I got the challah bread french toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. All was delicious! The bacon was super crispy. My friend got a healthy breakfast dish and she said it was great. The only complaint was one of the wait staff was pretty rude to my friend when she first came in. I have no complaints about the food; it was excellent. However, when we arrived at 12:15, we were told that breakfast items were no longer available. The menu explicitly states that breakfast is served until 12:45, which was disappointing, especially since we drove about 30 minutes to get to the restaurant only to have to turn around and leave. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 5.
We were seated at a dirty table and had to request that it be cleaned. We waited more than 30 minutes for our food, and when it arrived, the burgers were dry, and the crab dip was also lacking moisture and flavor. I would recommend trying the crab dip from The Hideaway instead!
