I recently visited Willy's Mexicana Grill at Cherokee Plaza, and sadly, I can’t recommend it. I ordered a steak burrito, but the steak was cold and tasted like it had been left out for a couple of days. It was served at room temperature, which made me worry about food safety. On top of that, the tortilla fell apart, forcing me to ask for a bowl just to hold what was barely a burrito. To make things worse, the register didn’t have any change, and there was a water leak from the ceiling that soaked the floor. I have been a loyal customer at Willy's for eight years, frequently dining there with my husband one to two times a week. However, I've noticed a significant decline in both the quality of the food and the level of service in recent years. I genuinely believe that this issue stems from the management. I attempted to reach out to corporate via email, but unfortunately, I received no response. Each time I visit Willy's, it feels chaotic. More often than not, my food arrives either burnt or cold, and the service is extremely slow. As my husband puts it, "it's always the B team." I think corporate should consider better compensation for their employees. Sadly, I have decided not to return.
I always enjoy dining at Willy's! However, I do have a concern about this location: the refrigeration unit that holds the mix-in ingredients is in dire need of a deep cleaning. I also noticed that the person preparing my meal was using the wall of the unit to scoop up my selections. I'm not sure if they realize they're doing this, but as a customer, it was quite unsettling to see old ingredients dried on the wall from previous use. It's not only unappealing, but it also raises health concerns. For my bowl, I chose ingredients that were placed away from the wall, but I couldn’t help but wonder what other cleanliness issues might be present if this area isn’t properly maintained.

It was also Room temperature!! hope I don't get foodpoisoning!!????And the tortilla came loose and fell apart, so I asked them for a bowel to put what was left of this so calledburrito in it. The food at Willy's was excellent as usual, but the service at this location was the slowest and most disorganized I've encountered. It took an eternity for them to assist the customer ahead of me, and no one was available to help with my order while they concentrated on theirs. Furthermore, I was charged for a large quesadilla but only received a regular one, and they almost forgot to give me my chips.
This restaurant offers a menu reminiscent of Chipotle and similar establishments. If you manage your expectations and focus on the essentials, you could be pleasantly surprised. However, what really makes this place shine is the staff, especially the manager (either Dee or D, though I’m not certain of the spelling). They are exceptionally accommodating, particularly with larger orders.
I visited the Buckhead location and ordered a veggie wrap. I had a good experience at this location, I went for my birthday and typically I would've received a birthday email for 50% off of a burrito but I didn't this time. I explained that to the managerand he ended up giving me my burrito for free. I thought that was awesome. Great customer service experience at this location.
Good food as usual from Willys but this easily the sloppiest and slowest service of the locations I?ve visited, they take forever on the customer in front of me and there isn?t anyone else to work on mine while they work on theirs, and they chargedme for a large quesadilla when I got a regular and they almost forgot my chips

This place offers a similar menu to Chipotle and the likes. If you stick with the basics and adjust your expectations you?ll be pleasantly surprised. But really what makes a difference is the staff and the manager (Dee or D not sure how he spells it).Super accommodating especially for large orders.
