Wimpy - Réserver une table

Was in London for a few days and found a wimpy on a nostalgic notion. I used to love wimpy as a kid and had vivid memories of it as I walked from the nearby DLR Shadwell minute walk).When I walked in...the nostalgia hit me. The simple tables, the red seats , the open plan with the kitchen visible. I was searching for the tomato shaped ketchup bottles...but that was the one thing missing. Staff so friendly. Immediately attended to and made very welcome. The menu is what you expect from a burger restaurant but the food was spot on. Delicious....that familiar wimpy taste....huge portion of chips....and a selection of wimpy sauces.I loved it....decent price....and very clean.Recommend this so much. Just put the ketchup in those retro sauce bottles and I will be back ASAP !

the wimpy in shadwell is a special place herr wimpy has worked there since 1977, and he owns the place. he is a very friendly man and other staff there are also so friendly; they bring them a time and ask for their children; it is simply not something they still get in these days; the decor is like it in the 70s and the music is at least 20 years old. it feels like a little laped from the evil world out there; where you have a cup tee and some fry up...and yes it is not the healthiest of food, but they can say that eating is prepared with love and is actually quite delicious; it is quite expensive; but it is only the atmosphere that makes it a special place. long life heart wimpy

Stop here for a bit of lunch. Everything I have come to expect from the wimpy name. Very clean. Food was amazing. The staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly, polite, welcoming and great full. Could not fault them

it wasn't clear that they were still in london. the workers were very friendly and many different options to choose from with many inside seats. Unfortunately, eating is not half and only a vegan option (burger)

a real local and community feeling for this wimpy. very friendly staff. comes a very close second to wimpy, streatham and in the last 40 years I was at about 700 of them. only about 10% of them are with us.
