This restaurant has gone downhill since Covid has eased to allowing people to dine in. My sisters, brother and I went to Wimpys for brunch. We had placed our order and got our drinks. The waitress had come to let us know that the waffles/pancake mix was spoiled. We had to change our order. The waitress has still brought a waffle to the table. We were a bit shocked she brought it. We didn't say anything other that she just told us it was spoiled. We got another waitress as our first one was upset. But we didn't say anything nasty to her. I would not recommend ordering the chicken souvlaki at this restaurant. I was very disappointed with my last experience, as it had been a while since I had been there. The restaurant was empty, which should have been a clue. The chicken souvlaki had very little chicken in it, to the point where I considered complaining to the waitress. However, I was too hungry to wait any longer. Not only was there a lack of chicken, but they also used white onions instead of red, giving it a strange taste. It was one of the worst souvlaki dishes I have ever had. The menu is too extensive, and my friend's fish and chips were greasy with unappetizing fries. It was a waste of $40. Food was good, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Servers clearly didn’t want to be there, one even muttered “ugh more people are coming in” while standing directly infront of my table. I’m sorry your customers are an inconvenience? Stumbling, dropping things, I would have thought they were drunk if they weren’t at work. Pretty dirty atmosphere as well. I’m sorry to be harsh, but go to the back to roll your eyes. Not infront of your tables please.
We entered the restaurant, took a quick look around, and ultimately chose not to dine there. The atmosphere appeared dirty and unwelcoming, with ripped upholstery on the bench seats. Despite the lackluster appearance, the waitress was friendly and informed us that the upholstery would be replaced in July. Perhaps we will consider returning after the improvements are made.

Wimpys has a very large menu, convenient hours and big portions . We stopped for coffee and dessert, and the server was very polite, friendly and attentive. Everything was well done, and the apple pie with icecream was huge! The waffle was crunchy and all toppings were good.
Great place for breakfast, especially if you get the breakfast special. Service was fast, coffee was hot and food was exactly what I ordered. Lots of seating and the staff were friendly. Much better than those fancier places that charge 3 times as much!
Sorry but this location is becoming a bit of a mess. Ripped seats, ceiling tiles in need of replacement, and the broken plates match the broken window. And the food is not what it used to be.
Great little diner. Food is exactly what you would expect from a diner and the staff is always very kind and accommodating. I have been many times and had a consistently good experience.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for fish and chips, as well as delicious burgers. Their milkshakes are the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
Always good food whether it be breakfast or dinner.
