Wimpy's Diner - Réserver une table

My friend and I chose to eat here. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning on what was probably one of the hottest days of the year. Diner was a bit tired looking and the tableside juke box was broken. But we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who appeared to be the only person working, and the only other person in the restaurant. He sat us, took our order, cooked it and served it.I had the Hollywood Wrap sandwich with onion rings and my friend had the chicken fingers. The food was very good and we enjoyed a nice, leisurely dinner. As our table was being cleared, we asked the gentleman what time he closed at and he replied "7 pm". Waitress was very nice but took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. And the place was almost empty. Daughter's chicken fingers was over cooked and very dry. I ordered the club with onion rings, the turkey was extremely dry and onion rings over cooked. Husband had the hot turkey sandwich and he also stated the turkey was very dry.

This quirky restaurant in Lindsey is perfect for a morning or midday meal. It is owned and operated by a friendly Jamaican family. I would definitely come back again.
