Currently open for carry out only. They have a beautiful dining room when they do decide to open up. This clean little Chinese-Japanese restaurant has a large menu. Although the staff is Chinese, the cuisine has been Americanized. The chicken and broccoli is delicious, savory, garlicy and a little sweet. The fried rice is bland and hard. The salt and pepper fish has great flavor but the batter is a little thick, tough and chewy. The sushi is okay. However, they did not use sushi rice to make the rolls. The miso soup does not taste like miso soup. It tastes like mild chicken broth with tofu and seaweed. The egg roll was light and crispy. Prices and proportions are excellent. We got 3 rolls, 1...
I can't believe the low ratings for this place! They have the BEST SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN I've ever had! I really enjoy supporting this business because the staff is incredibly friendly and personable. The quality of the food is top-notch, and it always tastes so fresh! My fiancé and I have tried a variety of dishes, and we've loved every single one. You get a generous portion of food for a great price. I've had noodles from many different places, and this is the only restaurant where they aren't greasy! It's definitely a fantastic place to eat!
We recently tried this place out for the first time. The eggrolls were delicious and the orange chicken was as well. The Kung Pao shrimp was ok, not our favorite. Two primary drawbacks are that we live in Monee but they wouldn't deliver to us because we are 12 minutes away and customer service answering phones and during picking up orders could use some improvement. This was our first experience so we will give them the benefit of the doubt and probably try them again in the future.
I ordered the BBQ pork appetizer for $7.99, and I received just six pieces, each about the size of a half dollar. The competition down the street serves at least four times as much food for a lower price. When I went back to inquire about the portion size, I was told that this is the standard order. I also tried the teriyaki chicken, which was decent. Overall, I was disappointed with the poor customer service, small portions, and high prices considering the quality and size.
