I’ve been visiting this restaurant for more than 20 years, and despite having many choices, Windmill remains the best by far. The grill boasts a rich tradition of flavors. That said, the prices have risen quite a bit recently. Thankfully, you can still find local vouchers in community newspapers to help offset the cost.
The best fast food burger I've ever tasted, no question. The unique charbroiled flavor really elevates the whole experience. I had the bacon cheeseburger and we also grabbed a chili dog to take away. The chili dog was just as impressive as the burger. Definitely a 10/10—I'll be back for sure.
This New Jersey legend has new owners, which has some people hesitant to go and support them. There's truly no place like the original Windmill; it holds so many fun memories and always offers great food. The hot dogs are a must-try! It remains a true Jersey classic.

Excellent hot dogs! Legendary spot from what I understand. The dogs have the perfect (and I mean PERFECT) snap to them. The place is really cool; you can go upstairs and eat outside around the top of the windmill. Highly recommended for hot dog lovers!!
The restaurant clearly doesn't understand how to prepare a rare burger. Despite my repeated requests, they still didn't get it right. The quality of the food has declined over the years, and I’ve decided I won't be dining there any longer.
