The views of the city at Windy Point are undoubtedly a winning aspect of the long time romanticised restaurant. So to finally be treated with dinner here was a long awaited feat for me. Unfortunately, and perhaps this was partly due to the raving reviews and reputation of the restaurant I had grown to understand, my experience here fell short of my expectations. The food was for the most part delicious however the menu itself is very standard traditional fine dining. The only reason why I gave 3 stars is because we were given seating 's with one of the worst view of the house. And we booked well over a month (Mar 4th) before dining April 7th. And we traveled so far to get there. This would be the managers faults since he said ...the best I can do for you . And the manage Derrick asked if I wanted to tip when I was paying (Embarrassing for the restaurant that they have to ask); I felt we deserved better than that. For those that doesn 't know the Aussie culture, we do not tip in Australia as locals. My partner and I had dinner at Windy Point Restaurant not long ago and the place was amazing. From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty from our amazing waitress. The staff were awesome, nothing was too difficult. The food was AMAZING! Best steak everrrrr. and really enjoyed the dessert chocolate tasting platter!!! I'm a real chocolate dessert lover so I was in love! The view was also amazing. I found it hard to maintain eye contact to my partner during conversation because I was too awestruck by the view. Highly recommend Windy Point restaurant, especially for special occasions or a romantic date!!

Very nice place and a great view of the city. I went there as part of a very large group (25+ . The service was great and the food well worth what we paid for it. Because we were such a large group we did not get to order from the menu, but I believe this would be a great place to take your significant other for a nice romantic dinner.

Beautiful atmosphere and and unparalleled food, the view is superb and waiters are efficient and quick to action any requests.
