Located in a tiny business area next to the 5 Oso Exit, this place is nicer and larger from the inside than you expect. We have been before to the sister restaurant next door with whom they share the same kitchen (not the menu). Excellent for a date, but there were also some families with children. We sat down at the bar without reservation. The service was very pleasant, with excellent and personal main service, and a little bit rushed waiters who brought out the dishes. Birthday celebration dinner on a Wednesday evening. Got there early for a 6:00 reservation to take advantage of Happy Hour. Brie fondue was excellent. Crispy toast and apple slices to dip in a ramekin of creamy, hot brie. Excellent with an Excelsior sauivgnon blanc. Wife had the halibut, her favorite, and I had the Kurobuta pork chop. She ordered hers done medium and it arrived hot and flaky, a generous portion with kale and puree sides. Pork chops were thick and very tender with a nice reduction sauce. We had made reservations at Dublin4, but it was quite chaotic, so we decided to head next door to Wineworks and sit at the high-top tables. The atmosphere there was much better. Both restaurants share the same kitchen and restrooms, and while their menus have many similarities, Wineworks offers the superior options. I often find myself disappointed with food in Orange County, but this place really knows how to do it right. The wine selection is outstanding—I even enjoyed a Pinot Noir from Baden, Germany. This is an excellent place for good food and wine at a reasonable price.Please order the Brie fondue and the crab cakes were outstanding.The pork chop was excellent and salmon was ordered by two in our group and they said “best” we have ever had.Service is good but a bit slow still better than other restaurants I have been to!!Have a great cocktail and great wine at a good price and enjoy your experience!!We are going again!! Vegetarian options: They are very good if you want plant based main courses. Parking: Small parking lot, you might have to valet on a Friday or Saturday!!

A true gem in south OC with consistent delicious menu and top notch service for about 10 years now. Darren the owner is usually there and can recommend great wine pairings at very reasonable prices. I almost always go home with an extra bottle of a newly discovered wine based on his recommendation :
Outstanding food as always but horrendous service tonight which is unusual for this place. One of the worst service experiences we’ve ever had at an upscale restaurant. So bad it ruined the excellent food experience.
Excellent food! This is likely one of the best restaurants in MV. The owner, Darren, is also fantastic—very personable and friendly. If you have any dietary restrictions, they'll gladly accommodate your needs.
Sophia at the bar is stellar and is so knowledgeable about the wines and is also just engaging and fun to talk with and attentive. Can’t wait to go back and sit at the bar.
