Wingfield Farm Dining Carvery

Excellent carvery! Wasn't been a while, but it was as good as I remember. Had a big carvery and as usual should or could be easily satisfied with the standard size! Also while obviously in the mood to order too much, I had the pigs in blankets! So the big one meant a large oval plate, more meat? pork, beef, turkey or gammon, or the choice of 2 of them. My 2 pigs in blankets that were an extra £ 1.50 were really very nice and the option of 1, 2, or 3 very big Yorky powders! There was no way I could go back to our table with 3 puddies! Numerous vegetables carrots, sprouts, carrots and silence, red cabbage, even muddy peas! Roast potatoes, new potatoes and naturally rich, thick gravy, oh and do...

Visited tonight at around 6pm, the place was absolutely packed out but the lovely staff managed to sort us a table even though we didn’t book in advance, we all had carvery and my gosh it was amazing, the chef behind the deck was so cheerful and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing, the lady looking after the section we was sat in (Becky) was so friendly and polite, and even though she was rushed off her feet she took the time to pop across and ask us if everything was okay with our meals, fantastic food, service and a lovely clean place with a great atmosphere. Had an excellent Carvery! Delicious meat with good portions not like Toby, where they give you talk! Veg was great and beautiful Yorkshire puddings. The only thing I would recommend is that they invest in some puppies out there as they were a bit of trouble eating. Has excellent service of personnel and very good value for money. Will be safe again in the future.

Had an absolutely beautiful meal for a birthday. Book a table for 6 and when we had to move it back, they were happy to take place. Great drinks on offer and the food was excellent for all of us. Unbelievable desserts, but the star of the show was the staff, especially the beautiful Julia. We have met all the needs. A model host. Would recommend a visit! Réservez une table maintenant

Absolutely great, everything you could wish. Also recommend the Dessert menu. Some customers seem to wait a while for not karvery menu meals. Probably Carvery becomes priority in the kitchen, as I suspect that this is the biggest trade. Servers were professional and always handy

We like the carvery here the meat is always cooked lovely and so much veg to choose from, just wish would cook the sprouts a bit more (like eating them raw). we even had a dessert this visit and the apple crumble was nice and so much of it

Kathryn was absolutely lovely and she made us feel so welcome. The man on carvery was so pleasant and seemed to ve enjoying his work. Food was lovely and plentiful. Thank you to all the staff, our visit was amazing

The food was all hot and flavourful. The 3 starters for £10 were all tremendous, I thoroughly enjoyed them. I'll definitely be back. Claudia was very good at her job. The best I've seen in England. Réservez une table maintenant

All the staff were very helpful, particularly the lady who found us a table. She couldn't have been more thoughtful, kind and patient. Food was good and good value. Definitely be back.

Enjoyed a lovely carvery at Winfield Farm. It was really good value, great choice of vegetables and meats. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely go again.
