I ordered the new special, which includes 8 wings and 4 pieces of cornbread for $13.99, and I added the regular mac and cheese for an extra $3.49. Unfortunately, the food was pretty underwhelming. The fried chicken was crispy but lacked flavor. The mac and cheese tasted like Kraft mac and cheese—just bland. The cornbread was decent, but nothing remarkable. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and offered indoor seating. I got my meal to go and it was for dinner.
I love the staff here and the fried wings. I also love the spicy wings. The mac and cheese would be better if it was made from scratch to compliment the great chicken. Would I recommend it?
