Wir wollten am 22.07.2024 gegen Mittag über die HomePage dieses Lokals (winzerstueble.de) online eine Tisch für Abends, 2 Personen, draußen im Garten reservieren. Da die Online-Reservierung darauf hinwies (fett unterstrichen), dass Tische im Garten nicht reserviert werden, sonder nur Tische drinnen im Lokal, haben wir die Online-Reservierung abgebrochen, da wir ja im Garten essen wollten. Als wir dann am Abend (18 Uhr) am Lokal eintrafen, sahen wir, dass einige Tische im Garten reserviert waren. Auf Nachfrage war man ganz erstaunt und überrascht und zweifelte den Online-Reservierungsvorfall sogar an. Wir bekamen dann noch einen letzten Tisch an der verkehrsträchtigen Strassenseite. My wife and I picked this place after reading reviews from last year. Apparently, this place is either under new management or has been remodeled including a new menu. (An English version is in the works).Many of the things mentioned in the reviews were not available. That made us let the waitress make recommendations. She did very well. We started with the Flamm Munster which was like nothing I have ever had but very good. My wife had the Spargelrolle (asparagus and ham wrapped in a crepe with hollandaise sauce) and it was delicious. I had the Angus Rumpsteak which came with a great fresh salad and fries. After an afternoon of sightseeing in Gengenbach, we searched for a place to sit, have a few drinks, and maybe, a bite to eat.Found Winzerstuble just off the main square and after ordering drinks, had a look at the menu - and immediately felt hungry.There were four in our party so we ordered four different items and did a lot of cross plate sharing. The flammkuchen was my favorite. But all the dishes were good and the food was plentiful. Topped it off with strudel and vanilla sauce. Since the Winzerstuble is in a courtyard away from the main square, there is no traffic or noise distraction, a relaxing place.
Had a family lunch here and had a good meal. The flamküche (8€) was tasty and we enjoyed the wild boar goulash too. (15€). The servings were fine but not huge.The service was friendly and fairly efficient.and I was very impressed with the clean modern toilets.All in all fine, but there are probably better options in the village.

Das Kalbfleisch war nicht mehr genießbar, für einen Preis 26, 00 Euro Das Cordonbleu war innen noch roh Essen wurde daraufhin nochmal neu gemacht.... Sosse wurde um bestellt, dafür wurde 1,00 Euro berechnet.. Früher war das ein super Restaurant. Zumindest hätte man ein Espresso als Entschuldigung anbieten können. Schade,
The restaurant is situated just off the main street and has a typical old fashioned German look. The seating was comfortable and the atmosphere good. The menu had plenty of typical Black Forest dishes and both it and the drinks menu were well priced. The food was good, well cooked and hot with service attentive.
Very good restaurant in Gengenbach! You can order a wine tasting of 6 5cl glasses. Very nice! Very good quality food. Also nice choice for vegetarians. But...
We had dinner here one evening. The food was great, the wine was great and the staff were very attentive. There's a nice little out door area too.

Three days in Gengenbach 3 x Winzerstüble! Nice atmosphere, excellent wines and delicious food. And then great service!
