Walked into this place on a very bustling Saturday evening for a glass of their wine and a pretzel - the chap behind the bar spoke very good English and was able to give a novice to the area a reasonable introduction to German/Rhein wines. We went there about 3 times over the course of our stay in Meersburg, and sat outside twice and inside once. Very welcoming each time.There is ample space outside for the little ones to run around while you sample the local wine.There is a well stocked shop at the back of the bar with good prices on their locally made wines - suggest you walk away with some of their Rosé and a weissburgunder!

beautiful location with good view outside, but not on the main tourists. traditional German dishes that my wife had a very good sour roast, I had an excellent wine-owner pork steak. the unavoidable large drinking! can make menus available in English if required. good selection of local wines with a traditional interieur. we had lunch here, which made us feel pretty good for the day. think they were about 15-20 €. the big test would I go back? came for a snack here as we had booked a table for the 2nd session lake constance, which was completely booked over the autumn vacation. the glass of the müller thürgaus, the flagship wine in the region, with a teller brot and fresh...drop also in the offer were silly quiche or inflammatory cake. the weeping farmers were busy bringing their weeping in to be weighed and pressed in the meantime next door! definitely a place to go back.
Nice location with good views outside but not on the main tourist drag. Traditional German dishes my wife had a very good sauerbraten, I had an excellent "wineyard owners" pork steak. The inevitable large potions! Can provide menus in English if needed. Good range...of local wines with a traditional interior. We had lunch here which pretty much filled us up for the day. Think the mains were about the big test would I go again? Yup
