Visited here with my boyfriend as a birthday treat on recommendation of a family member. Really glad we went.Firstly the location is fab. Really beautiful surroundings by a lake. The inside is an old barn. Really nicely presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The wine was excellent. The food, delightful. Great selection of both traditional German and other cuisines. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. Next time I'm in Bielefeld, I would definitely back.
Came here for a corporate dinner. The food was simple but salads were very pleasant, desserts were not overly sweet and according to the season, fish was a bit overcooked, but I've been told the meat is just right. We have had a self-service buffet with one of the staff looking after the grill and a couple of waiters cleaning the tables. The service was not annoying, and everything was done just on time.
The restaurant is located in a nice old farm house. The place is big and had rather few customers, but it was in the middle of the week. The service was very good and the food was excellent; this, as usual, implies a limited choice. I had only a main dish as I had been warned, that the helpings were very generous, as was indeed the case. Everybody else seemed to be quite satisfied!

Very well ate. My liver was wonderfully tender. Also from the others the: Rouladen, the Rotbarsch and the foil potatoes with chicken were great. Ambience and volume were optimal. We like to come back.
